Decided on a whim to make a soundtrack for my book I’m trying to write.

So everyone is freaking out about Tarrlok blood-bending without the full moon.

No guys. It makes total sense.

Yeah the moon is only “full” once a month—but that’s just the light reflecting off of its surface. The actual moon is there all the time. If you look up even if the moon isn’t “full” you can still see the rest of it if you look hard enough. So blood-bending at anytime makes complete sense.

Also, in ATLA blood-bending was in its infancy. In LOK it’s been around for over 70 years. Just like lightning-bending and metal-bending. Both of which had become more widespread and used. It makes sense that blood-bending is no different.

Times are changing and bending is evolving.
